Hayden Panettiere confirmed her engagement to boxer Wladimir Klitschko in a surprise announcement on Live with Kelly and Michael today. Take a look at this monstrosity on her finger.
Panettiere just returned from Russia, where she attended Wladimir’s victory over Alexander Povetkin. The victory moved Klitschko to 61-3 and he retained the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO and The Ring Heavyweight Championship. It was his 15th title defense.

Panettiere did not say when the engagement occurred but we’re guessing it was sometime after the fight. I imagine Klitschko’s like ‘The Raging Bull’, not wanting any lovey dovey crap before a big bout.

The couple met in 2009 and have had an on-again/off-again relationship since. During one split, Hayden began seeing Scotty McKnight, a former WR for the New York Jets. There was also a Mark Sanchez rumor thrown in their for good measure but that was never confirmed. Apparently, she only dates winners.
