FIJI Fraternity Suspended at Texas Tech For Taking Nude Pictures

This story is probably going to repeat itself at least 10 times this year, but you the beginning of the school year is as good as any to remind you bros of the rule #1 of owning a smartphone: Thou shall not send creepy nude pics.

Texas Tech’s Phi Gamma Delta has been slapped with a suspension after “a photograph of a partially nude female Texas Tech student was taken by a man who pledged the fraternity in the fall of 2013.” The shitty thing is that it was by a dude who wasn’t even in the fraternity, but had some lose affiliations. The message remains: Taking a creepy pic of someone without their consent then blasting it to all your buddies is a supremely fucked up thing to do.

The moral of the story is simple: Don’t a creep. It’s really not that hard, doofuses. Via KCBD:

The letter says, “It is without dispute, that the photograph was taken by a man who has never been initiated into the Fraternity.”

The letter says the incident happened in March 2013 while the student was on Spring Break in Alabama.

“It was taken in Alabama and was disseminated by him to others, including not only FFiji’s but also members of other fraternities via the Internet. The chapter in no way whatsoever sanctioned the events in Alabama that were attended by only a few brothers as well as others with no association whatsoever with the Fraternity.”
