A lot of people can say what I’m about to say: I drove through South Dakota once. Stopped at Mt. Rushmore and the City of Deadwood in the Black Hills. Pretty sure I got a souvenir shot glass, but that was well over 10 years ago and it’s long gone.
What I didn’t realize is that South Dakota — home to the University of South Dakota — is low-key one of the most savage party states in our wonderful country. These kids go hard and give zero fucks during the annual Dakota Days events, making for one of the finest college party traditions in the United States.
So many schools aren’t even close to their level.
