Virginia Tech Just Produced The Worst ‘Shake It Off’ Video Mankind Has Ever Seen

Taylor Swift’s smash song ‘Shake It Off’ came out on August 18, 2014. At the same time, she released an excellent video.

It spawned a lot of parodies. Some were good, some were bad, and one was so inspired that Swift herself invited the Frat Bros behind it to a concert.

Today is some four months after that video’s release, or in internet years, longer ago than the actual formation of the Earth.

So Virginia Tech’s College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences (which I matriculated from) has no business releasing a ‘Shake It Off’ parody today.

But I could look past it if it were amazing, intelligent, fantastic. But this is just a bunch of disinterested students standing in front of an elevator. They don’t even do anything Swift does in her video. Maybe they too were ashamed about making a ‘Shake It Off’ parody in December. Some of them may have not even seen the video, like the guy at the 1:00 mark who busts out some ‘Gangnam Style.’

Suffice it to say, this is more of an embarrassment to the school than this.
