Austin Rogers’ ‘Jeopardy’ Reign Ended, But Not Before A Hilariously Inappropriate Moment With Trebek

The month of October has been one of the most lit months in Trebek’s 30 year history hosting the show. NYC bartender Austin Rogers has taken us on one helluva ride, with a 12-game winning streak that netted him a total $411,000, putting him in fifth place for all-time regular season winnings. Rogers’ reign came to an end on Thursday, losing by $51 to a stay-at-home mother from Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

But, in true Rogers fashion, he went out on a high note–providing us with a Jeopardy memory that won’t soon be forgotten…

Dicktree. Trebek said DICKTREE. Twitter took notice…

Thanks for the memories, Austin.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
