Marvel’s Black Panther is slated for a 2018 Valentine’s Day weekend release day (February 16th), and it’s debatably the most highly-anticipated Marvel film in years. We’ve seen several trailers for Marvel’s Black Panther so far, including a feature-length trailer that ran before Thor: Ragnarok, but each of those trailers have sort of been re-cut versions of each other with a few scenes added.
In this all-new Black Panther international trailer we get a deeper look at the nation of Wakanda, and we get to see more of the character Shuri played by Letitia Wright:
I didn’t really read comic books religiously growing up and if we’re being honest, I didn’t know jack shit about the Black Panther until his appearance in Avengers: Infinity War. Even after his appearance in that film I wasn’t overly excited for a Black Panther film until the first trailer dropped, that’s when I got hooked. The trailer that ran before Thor: Ragnarok and this international trailer are just icing on the cake. I’m all in now.
This film will star Chadwick Boseman of Marshall and Gods of Egypt, Michael B. Jordan of Creed and Friday Night Lights, Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman of The Hobbit and the UK’s The Office, Forest Whitaker, and more. We still have a solid three months before Black Panther hits theaters and we’ll almost certainly see some badass new footage in the trailers to come so stay tuned.
