Watch Competitive Eater Matt Stonie Attempt To Devour An Unholy Amount Of Ramen

Matt Stonie fears no food. He has devoured insane amounts of ribs, Popeyes chicken, milk and cookies, In-N-Out burgers, protein shakes, Taco Bell tacos, McDonald’s Big Macs, Hooters chicken wings, ice cream, and of course Nathan’s hot dogs. In his latest food challenge, Matt “Megatoad” Stonie attempted to eat an unholy amount of ramen that would give any normal human being hypernatremia.

The California-based professional competitive eater was joined by his friend Morgan to attempt to eat more ramen than you ate during all four years at college combined. The dynamic duo took on the Giant Ramen Challenge at Mori Kitchen Japanese restaurant in San Jose. They would have to finish a gargantuan bowl of ramen within 25 minutes to win. But it’s not just your run-of-the-mill bowl of ramen. The bowls they give you aren’t bowls. They’re huge planters you would get at Home Depot that you would use to display a 6-foot-tall Cypress tree. Someone call a doctor and take their blood pressure because they probably just ingested 79,036 grams of sodium.
