These Crazy Facts Are Boggling People’s Minds And Making Me Question My Existence

Did you know Adolf Hitler was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1939? Or that Viagra, dissolved in water, can make out flowers stay erect for up to a week longer than they normally would? Or, in 2002 alone, more people were killed by dogs than in shark attacks in the past 100 years? All pretty crazy, no? Possibly as crazy as wasting a perfectly good viagra on a fucking plant.

A Redditor recently posed the question: What’s a fact that absolutely blows your mind? Here are the most mind-numbing responses.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
