It’s the end of production for two of 2018’s most anticipated films; Deadpool 2 and X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The movies, both of which are Fox-Marvel titles, finished production on Saturday. Simon Kinberg, who is a producer on both films, announced on Instagram that X-Men: Dark Phoenix had wrapped up production
Not to be outdone, Ryan Reynolds announced that production on Deadpool 2 was also finished with a photo on Instagram. The lovable Deadpool 2 actor made a little Game of Thrones joke and thanked the movie’s director David Leitch, best known for John Wick and Atomic Blonde.

The highly anticipated sequel also stars T.J. Miller, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Jack Kesy, Shioli Kutsuna, Julian Dennison, Karan Soni, Stefan Kapacic, and Leslie Uggams. Deadpool 2 has a release date of June 1st, 2018, while you’ll have to wait until November 2 , 2018, for X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
