Foo Fighters Invite Fan To Play Drums During Show And Absolutely Kills ‘Under Pressure’ Cover

Without a doubt, Pierce Edge had the best seat in the house during Tuesday night’s Foo Fighters concert. The young Foo Fighters fan was invited onstage with the great American rock band and was given the chance to play drums during an incredible cover of “Under Pressure” by Queen and David Bowie. Pierce, a sophomore at the University of South Carolina, not only played the drums well, but he absolutely killed the cover song.

During an epic 25-song concert at the Colonial Life Arena in South Carolina, Pierce held up a sign that asked to play drums for Foo Fighters for their rendition of “Under Pressure.” During the encore, Dave Grohl spotted Pierce in the crowd and invited him onstage to play the second-to-last song of the night. The 19-year-old business major at University of South Carolina told the crowd, “Go Cocks!” Grohl replied, “I thought you were saying something else.” Then he instructed Pierce to get behind the drum kit to play with the band, but warned, “don’t shit the bed in your hometown.” Pierce, who is from North Myrtle Beach, did not shit the bed and destroyed the cover of “Under Pressure.”

I guess you could say… (don’t say it)… Pierce performed (don’t you dare say it)… under pressure.
