Harrison Ford, Real-Life Hero, Saves Car Crash Victim On The Side Of The Highway

Harrison Ford’s made a career out of playing some of the most iconic superheroes in Hollywood’s history. So it must’ve seemed pretty surreal yesterday to the crash victim who lost control of her vehicle and ran off the freeway in Santa Paula, California when she regained composure and found Harrison Ford rescuing her from the car and attempting to keep her calm until paramedics arrived.

TMZ reports that Harrison Ford turned into a real-life hero yesterday when the car traveling in front of him on Route 126 lost control and crashed on the side of the freeway. Harrison Ford then reportedly pulled over, helped the victim out of her car, and stayed with her until paramedics were able to arrive:

According to TMZ, which first reported the story, Ford was driving in Santa Paula, California on Route 126 when a woman lost control of her vehicle and ran off the road into a small embankment. Ford was reportedly traveling behind her and immediately pulled over to lend assistance.
He and a handful of bystanders reportedly rushed to the woman’s assistance and managed to get her safely out of her car and keep the situation calm until paramedics arrived on the scene. The woman was reportedly taken to the emergency room with only minor injuries. (via)

For starters, I can’t really imagine just randomly losing control of my vehicle. There has to be something else happening in that situation (cellphone, spider in the car, etc). Furthermore, I can’t imagine ever crashing my car and getting dragged out of the vehicle by Indiana Jones himself, but it seems like Harrison Ford is always getting himself into these bizarre situations. He was directing Midtown tunnel traffic in Manhattan not too long ago and back in 2015 he had to make an emergency landing on a golf course while flying his plane. The dude lives an active life, to say the least, which is exactly what I’d expect from Harrison Ford.
