After making numerous people violently ill over the past few years (seriously, check out this hashtag – it’s truly astounding) now Chipotle is apparently trying to kill off TV stars…allegedly.

One such person, Supergirl actor Jeremy Jordan, who plays Winslow “Winn” Schott on the show, and at one point back in 2014 even sang about how much he loved them (really, I’m not lying, see below) claims that he ended up in the hospital thanks to a meal from Chipotle. He must have had one of their hepatitis, norovirus, Campylobacter jejuni, E. coli, and salmonella specials.

Posting his very first Instagram story, Jordan explained why no one should ever, ever eat at Chipotle again…

“I know I’ve advocated for them in the past, but they’re terrible,” said Jordan. “I, as you can see, am in the hospital and I have fluids in my arm because the food did not agree with me and I almost died.”

On the plus side, at least no mice fell from the ceiling while he ate there.

He continued…

“I just want to thank my wife for being amazing and talking me off the ledge when I was on the phone about to die and Chris Wood for holding my hair back metaphorically. I love all of you; thank you so much. It’s been a night.”

Seriously, how are they still in business? No joke, this is a legitimate question I have.

For their part, Chipotle issued a response to Jordan’s story with the following statement…

“We are sorry to hear that Jeremy is sick and have attempted to get in touch with him directly regarding where and when he ate so we can look into this. We take all claims seriously, but at this time we can’t confirm any link to Chipotle. We are always committed to making things right for our guests and will do the same for Jeremy when we are able to reach him.”

Man, and here Chipotle was doing so good too. It had been almost FOUR FULL MONTHS since we last reported about someone becoming severely ill after eating at one of their restaurants.

Guess they’ll have to reset their “Days Since Someone We Almost Killed Someone” counter back in the home office.
