Larry David Was In PEAK ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Form On ‘Kimmel’ Last Night, As Crotchety As Ever

Larry David

Jimmy Kimmel Live

HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm with Larry David returns for its 9th season on October 1st. It’s been 6 years since the show was last on TV but Larry David already appears to be right back in the swing of things, as was evidenced by his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night.

Larry’s character on the show has always been an exaggerated version of his actual personality. At times, it’s been difficult to discern if we’re seeing Larry David the actor or Larry David the man, and last night was no different. Larry came out as crotchety as we’ve ever seen him. He immediately started sassing on Jimmy Kimmel for not coming to greet him back stage.

If you’re a Curb Your Enthusiasm fan then this is the best footage you’ll get before the show premieres on October 1st. In fact, I’d go as far as saying this is the next best thing to new Curb Your Enthusiasm episodes because we get to see that blurry line even further obfuscated between Larry David the comedic genius and Larry David the cranky old man. I highly suggest watching all of the clips because each seemed better than the one before it:

Raise your hand if you can’t wait for the 9th season of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm!
