Pizza Hut

Pizza and beer. Name a more delicious duo… I’ll wait. Pizza Hut is attempting to make getting the delicious combination even easier, but only in one market as of right now. Starting today, Tuesday, Dec. 5, Pizza Hut will deliver you not only pizza but also beer. Begining in January, Pizza Hut will also deliver wine. However, Yum! Brands Inc. is only testing out this new service and it is only available in Phoenix, Arizona, but it hopes to expand to other cities in 2018.

As of right now, Phoenix Pizza Huts will only offer Anheuser Busch beers including Budlight, Budweiser, Shock Top and local favorite Kilt Lifter. The price for the delivery beer will be $10.99 for a six-pack. Customers will be able to order alcohol only if they so choose, but how do you pass up the perfect pairing of beer and pizza? Delivery fees will depend on the restaurant, but usually, the prices vary between $2 and $3. The beer will be delivered in specially designed coolers. To get the alcohol, customers will need to present IDs to the delivery person who will now have to be at least 21-years-old.

“Beer and wine are the perfect combination to pizza, and we can serve as a one-stop shop because we can do that all in-house, no added fees, no extended time,” said Yum! Brands spokeswoman Stacy Lynn Bourgeois. “We’re excited to offer the convenience of beer and wine delivered to a customer’s home.”

No more making two different stops to get your delectable pairing of beer and pizza. Plus it also means that if you already cracked open a few cold ones with the boys and ran out of beer, you can order more Buds with your pizza. Without having to leave the comfort of your couch. Lazy, hungry, drunk people rejoice!
