Thanks To ‘Rick And Morty’ McDonald’s Is Bringing Szechuan Sauce Back But For One Day Only

McDonald's Opened A Portal From 1998 To Deliver Szechuan Sauce To 'Rick And Morty' Creator

Rick And Morty

“Rick and Morty” did it! They really, really did it! Their perseverance in attempting to revive the glorious McDonald’s Szechuan from promoting Disney’s 1998 movie “Mulan” has FINALLY paid off! Due to the pressure from “Rick and Morty” and their rabid fans, McDonald’s is bringing back the cherished Szechuan sauce, but it’s only going to be available for one day only.

Hours before the “Rick and Morty” Season 3 finale on Sunday, McDonald’s announced that it’s bringing back its famous Szechuan sauce. However, the sacred sauce is only going to be available at select McDonald’s locations and each restaurant will only offer “limited quantities.” The Szechuan sauce will only be available for one day, and one day only, on October 7th.

McDonald’s called the sweet and spicy condiment “the year’s most talked-about dipping sauce.” The reincarnation of the sauce coincides with the launch of McDonald’s new buttermilk chicken tenders. In July, “Rick and Morty” creator Justin Roiland received the special sauce thanks to a portal from an alternate dimension where it’s always 1998.

In August, Roiland busted out the “Mulan” Szechuan sauce for the “Rick and Morty” team to indulge in.

God bless you “Rick and Morty.”
