There’s Now Taco Bell Beer

Taco Bell is going all in on this whole cantina concept. The company began debuting their cantina restaurants that serve liquor, boozy “Twisted Freezes,” beer, and wine two years ago. Taco Bell has taken it to another level by offering their Mexican cuisine with their very own beer.

Don’t fret, Taco Bell employees aren’t in the back of the restaurant checking the fermentation tank on the beer. This cold one will be brewed by the professionals over at Four Sons Brewing. Along with Taco Bell chefs, the Huntington Beach-based beer-maker co-developed a Mexican-style amber lager called “Beach Bell” for the fast food giant. The Taco Bell beer will feature a “unique flavor profile” that “enhances” the taste of their food. Fermented with fire sauce?

For most of us don’t expect to grab a few chalupas and a Beach Bell because the special beer will only be available at Taco Bell’s new Cantina in Newport Beach, California. While the Beach Bell isn’t available everywhere, it opens the doors for more Taco Bell Cantinas across the country to partner with craft brewers. The newest Taco Bell Cantina in Newport Beach opens this week and is “steps away from the beach,” plus has a 14-seat bar made of “partially reclaimed wood” with “Edison lights in clear globe shades” for millennial-appealing Instagram-friendly lighting.
