WATCH: Abraham Lincoln’s Iconic Gettysburg Address Using 92 Clips From Movies And TV

On the afternoon of Thursday, November 19, 1863, President Abraham Lincoln delivered one of the best-known speeches in American history. The Gettysburg Address was presented at a dedication to the Soldiers’ National Cemetery in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, four and a half months after the North’s armies defeated the Confederate forces at the Battle of Gettysburg. Next Monday is Memorial Day, which is a federal holiday for the purpose of remembering the brave men and women who died while serving in the country’s armed forces. The first Memorial Day was celebrated in 1866, one year after the end of the American Civil War. While we obviously don’t have audio or video to Lincoln’s iconic speech from the Civil War, we do have American movies and TV shows reciting the Gettysburg Address thanks to this tremendous supercut.

Triple-threat Shawn Kohne (Actor, comedian, video editor), who you may know from this fantastic “Game of Thrones/Princess Bride” mashup and “Jim Carrey Falling,” masterfully pieced together various clips from 92 different movies and TV shows to reimagine Honest Abe’s symbolic speech from 1863 with modern entertainment.

This incredible mashup combines such beloved American classics as “Caddyshack,” “Beavis and Butt-Head Do America,” “Fight Club,” South Park,” “Married With Children,” “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” “The Fifth Element,” “Braveheart,” “Clerks,” “The Blues Brothers,” “The Big Lebowski,” “Friday,” “Friday the 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan,” and of course “Lincoln” as well as “Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.”

Patriotism intensifies.
