I was never a big fan of the show Friends until I forced myself to sit through season 2 of True Detective this year, and now even though I’ve still never seen a full episode of the sitcom I’m in love with it. Why? Because Colin Farrell’s loser ginger fuck of a son decided he’d rather watch that show than spend time bonding with his dad over building model airplanes. That’s HILARIOUS. Out of all the shows he could’ve picked to watch while being forced to spend time with Colin Farrell he picks Friends? A sitcom from 20-something years ago? What, was M*A*S*H on commercial break? Farrell’s character should consider himself lucky that died, otherwise he would’ve been stuck with that kid for life.
You know what makes Friends even better? This jacked up ending where the whole series is just delusion cooked up by a meth-addled Phoebe, as written by fan Gareth Stranks:

Despite having never really seen the show, I dig this. The idea of this happy-go-lucky-FRIENDZ-4-EVUR sitcom ending with an insane homeless woman who sleeps in a park makes me giggle, probably moreso than the actual show would if I’d ever watched it.
