American Horror Story has been an absolute home run for an otherwise nondescript FX network. During its debut season back in 2011, the anthology horror series pulled in monster ratings, even being crowned the biggest new cable series of 2011. Further, AHS has aged like fine wine–with each consecutive season becoming the most watched season of the show and most watched season in FX broadcasting history. Their equation for success: gore, death, sex, psychotic behavior, and dead babies. All very fascinating, until its time for bed.
