Amy Schumer Pulled An Aces Move For Her High School Friends At A Huge Movie Premiere

It’s easy to forget all your old friends as soon as fame comes knocking. I’m only mildly famous and all the people I went to high school with are dead to me. See how easy that was?

Amy Schumer is still super tight with all her friends from high school. In a recent Vanity Fair interview, Schumer explained all her friends from her teens years are still in her life and do things like shower her with gifts so the star “doesn’t forget them.”

Naturally, she won’t, even without the gifts. She’s actually gone above and beyond the call of friendship by not only introducing her buddies to her new Hollywood pals but by pulling out the big guns if her friends aren’t included at certain events.

Despite making new friends in Hollywood like BFF Jennifer Lawrence, Amy makes sure to keep her high school clique close.

She introduced all seven women to J Law, and they even vacationed in the Hamptons together last summer.

The best part of all? Amy made sure to take all her high school friends to J Law’s final “Hunger Games” movie premiere. She recalled the experience of speaking with Lawrence’s people to get her friends into the film screening. She shared,

I was like, ‘I have to bring all my friends from high school.’ They were like, ‘Are you serious?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, if I go and don’t bring them, it’ll be an issue.’

I’d absolutely watch an Entourage-type show with Amy as Vinnie and her high school pals as Turtle and E. And naturally J Law as Johnny Drama.
