A Federal Judge Has Issued An Arrest Warrant For ‘Girls Gone Wild’ Founder Joe Francis

Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis is in trouble with the law. Yes, again. This time a federal judge has issued a warrant for his arrest for not turning over two luxury cars to the lawyers who managed his Girls Gone Wild company’s liquidation. A liquidation which was caused in large part by Francis owing more than $30 million in gambling and other debts that he owed casino owner Steve Wynn.

The reason Joe Francis hasn’t turned over a 2007 Cadillac Escalade and a 2012 Bentley Flying Spur to the lawyers? Oh, it’s totally a Joe Francis reason. It’s because, according to the Wall Street Journal, a strip-club owner in Mexico took them because of several Girls Gone Wild promotions that never happened.

Judge Olguin is the second federal judge to determine that Mr. Francis should be arrested. In August, U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Sandra Klein recommended jail time for Mr. Francis. Historically, bankruptcy judges have had the confidence to throw people in jail themselves, but a controversial ruling that involved former Playboy playmate Anna Nicole Smith has led some bankruptcy judges to turn to district-court judges for help deciding certain disputes.

Judge Klein also ruled that Mr. Francis should pay $5,000 a day until he complies with her ruling. By Bankruptcy Beat’s math, Mr. Francis could owe at least $1.3 million in fines. Mr. Francis’s lawyer disputes this amount.

Francis is believed to be living in Mexico with his girlfriend Abbey Wilson and their twins at a resort he built called Casa Aramara.

That is believed to be true because here’s Francis at Casa Aramara recently hanging out with none other than Kourtney Kardashian and Lord Disick. (As if you needed another reason to hate the Kardashians, there you go.)

Yes, that is a great picture of Scott Disick, you jackass.
