Someone Hilariously Trolled The ‘Ask Amy’ Advice Column By Using An Obvious, Classic ‘Seinfeld’ Plot

It goes without saying that Seinfeld is one of the funniest, most popular television shows of all time, with countless memorable episodes and endless terms and phrases that have basically become part of our every day vernacular. To this very day, the TBS network runs a freaking 2-hour block of the show four times a week, which would seem like overkill, but they do so for a reason: People still fucking love it even though the show wrapped in 1998.

The Keith Hernandez episodes in particular are something even my mom is familiar with, so it comes as great surprise that some fan wrote in to the syndicated “Ask Amy” advice column and manged to pull one over her eyes.

Hilarious. As I read the note to dear old Amy, the scene where Keith interrupted Jerry to tell him he’s a big fan of his act basically unfolds before my very eyes. In fact, I can actually hear it. Where in the hell have you been, Amy?

The funniest part in all of this might be her sincere advice back.

Amazing troll work. I’m guessing Amy doesn’t have cable, has never had cable, and has selfishly only read her own column for the last 25 years. That’s the only healthy conclusion I can draw from this.

The bottom line is that from this day forward, Amy CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
