RAP BEEFS: Birdman Threw A Drink At Lil Wayne While He Was Performing And The Internets Had A Field Day With It

So a little context here for you bros who have real jobs and aren’t up to date on your rapper beefs: Lil Wayne has filed a $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money Records and the label’s co-founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams over not being paid his multi-million dollar advance for Tha Carter V. Reports indicate that he dropped the case he initially filed but recently reopened it. Lil Wayne’s public displeasure with the label came to light in December 2014, when the rapper tweeted: “I want off this label.” He then claimed that Cash Money refused to release his album Tha Carter V.

From Decemeber 2014:

Birdman returned the ill-will during one of Lil Wayne concerts in a Miami Club on Sunday by allegedly tossing a cup of liquor on Wayne as he hit the stage to perform his freestyle of O.T. Genasis’ “Coco.” There is no actual footage of the toss but it’s clear the culprit was Birdman. Check out the aftermath below.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
