t was only a matter of time before Activision took it’s incredibly successful Call Of Duty franchise back to its warfare roots. Fans have been complaining about the FPS franchise becoming too futuristic and sci-fi for years. Advanced Warfare, Modern Warfare 3, Black Ops III, and Infinite Warfare had more in common with sci-fi shoot ’em ups a la Halo than actual military games. So, after two years of development from Sledgehammer Games, Call Of Duty is finally going back to being a war game with Call Of Duty: World War II.
The other day my colleague Paul shared a handful of leaked images of COD: WWII. Now we have the full reveal trailer following an event in London. A few huge takeaways from the press release — 1.) The campaign mode in this game is going to be badass and (2. THERE’S GOING TO BE A NAZI ZOMBIE MODE.
