Tom Hanks is widely held as one of the nicest guys on the planet. Ask anyone in Hollywood. Not that you can, you’re a nobody. Trust me. People love Hanks.
His son, rapper Chet Haze, well I’m sure he’s a nice fella — and we’ve spoken to him personally — but he’s got a slight chip on his shoulder. Either because his dad is one of the most famous men on the planet or because he’s got to live in the shadow of one of the most famous men on the planet. Possibly a combination of both.
Haze has had a long standing beef with Howard Stern that dates back almost four years. Basically, Stern thinks Chet’s only famous because of his old man and thinks he’s just a “wigger.” More recently, Stern played a clip of Haze’s appearance on Eminem’s Sirius channel and called him out for faking his dialect.
That diss was in January. Chet finally got around to firing back. He went OFF on Twitter.
