Kelly used the name Mac Daddy while his partner, Chris Smith was Daddy Mac. Together they made one of the greatest songs of the decade with Jump.
They were also responsible for one of the most ridiculous societal trends – the one where people actually wore their clothes backward.
Kelly faded from the public eye after the group’s popularity dwindled. He was reportedly in good health, despite widespread rumors he had cancer.
Damn shame.
