You can understand why Kristie Lu Stout has a hard time remaining professional here. Even the most hardened of journalist is occasionally overcome with emotion when reporting on a topic near and dear to their heart.
In this case, the CNN reporter was done in by Funasshi, the adorable mascot of Japan’s Funabashi City. She simply could not get through her piece without spiraling into a fit of laughter.
