Elektra brings the fire in Trailer Part Two for the up ‘n coming Daredevil’ Season 2. Honestly though, did we need any more hype after that first trailer featuring an ever-disgruntled, grim-faced ‘Punisher’ going rampage mode throughout Hell’s Kitchen as he fulfills his quest to unleash ruination on the city’s sprawling collection of crime-infested filth? Probably not, but at least with the new trailer we’re provided an insightful glimpse into Daredevil’s Elektra-fying (see what I did there..) love interest — Elektra. The two clearly make a formidably agile, cutthroat, kickass team, and you’ve gotta’ love the cliffhanger at the end involving the grappling hook, and the ambiguous introduction of a new dangerous squad, ‘The Hand.’
Netflix provides the following synopsis for what we can expect with ‘Daredevil’ Season 2:
Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.
Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood.
