Dave Grohl Invited A Dude Celebrating His 50th Birthday Onstage To Chug A Beer And It’s Brotastic

Dave Grohl is just killing the PR game lately. He’s probably the only rock star in the world who can consistently make headlines while his broken leg confines him to an iron throne, deeming him more-or-less motionless.

A couple weeks ago, he invited a dude onstage to sing Rush’s ‘Tom Sawyer’ (which he nailed). Then he brought a grown man onstage who was crying after recently losing his mother (continuing to fulfill dreams).

Most recently, during a show in Clarkston, Michigan on Monday night, the Foo Fighters frontman spotted a man holding a sign reading “It’s My 50th Birthday, Let’s Have A Beer!” Grohl invited the dude onstage and did just that, pounding tall boys in unison.

Chugging a beer with arguably the biggest rock star on the planet is a solid thing to check off your bucket list on a casual Monday night.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
