The ‘Duck Tales’ Reboot Has A Teaser Trailer And Release Date

When does the new Duck Tales come out? The answer to that is the Summer of 2017. And I am not an adult that watches cartoons with great regularity, but you can bet your ass I would watch the shit out of some Duck Tales. It’s a top 5 cartoon on my all time favorite list. Makes me wonder how the fuck it only lasted from 1987-1990. No way that it shouldn’t have been on the air for at least a decade. I smell foul play.

The crazy thing is this morning the universe gave me a Duck Tales sign while I was walking in the upper east side of NYC. I passed the office of some guy named Robert Quackenbush PH.D. I have no idea who the fuck he is but just seeing his name caused a five minute conversation about what kind of character Robert Quackenbush would be on Duck Tales between me and my wife. He would no doubt be an arch nemesis of Scrooge McDuck. Perhaps he is introduced during an episode where we learn that he is the token rich guy in the neighboring town. During that episode, we come to find out that he is funding his son’s little league team (the Quack Attack) giving them unfair advantages. After Huey, Dewey, and Louie’s team suffers a devastating and embarrassing loss to the Quack Attack, Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad McQuack spring into action looking to level the playing field. It would be an episode for the ages.

Of course old Robert Quackenbush wouldn’t be featured in every episode, but he could pop up 3-4 times per season to give Scrooge a run for his money. Make it happen, Disney. Put Quackenbush in Duck Tales.
