It’s been almost five years since the last Zelda game, and while Skyward Sword was met with critical acclaim it’s looking like the upcoming Breath of the Wild will truly be one for the books. Boasting an open world 12 times the size of the one featured in Twilight Princess, the game is breaking conventional game mechanics by making the story non-linear to the extent that you can even start the game by fighting the final boss (not that you should, but you definitely can).
But will Breath of the Wild be enough of a draw for video game fans to invest in the lackluster-selling Wii U or the upcoming NX? Only time will tell.
