The very successful formula of the past three Fast & Furious movies has our beloved crew of car bandits go up against some very ruthless, very brutal, and very intimidating foes.
There was Joaquim de Almeida as Reyes, the Brazilian gang lord slash businessman in Fast Five. Furious 6 saw Luke Evans play Owen Shaw, international criminal with a penchant for quick cars. And 7, of course, was the Jason Statham show, as Shaw’s brother, Deckard.
Now, Variety reports that Fast & Furious 8 will have a female villain, one who will kick some mother fucking ass and look damn good doing it.
Furi-fucking-osa.
That’s right, Charlize Theron is in talks to take on Vin Diesel and the Rock.
She’d beat them in a heartbeat.
Charlize Theron has received an offer to join the cast of Universal’s next “Fast and Furious” movie, “Fast 8,” as a new villain.
While it’s unclear where negotiations stand currently, sources close to the situation tell Variety that the studio is eager to add Theron to the ensemble cast. Universal had no comment.
Oh man. BABE.
Perhaps she’ll break Statham, who survived the events of 7, out of prison and team up with him.
That’d be a baller movie.
