Fyre Festival Lawyers Are Sending Cease-And-Desist Letters To Attendees Tweeting How Miserable It Was

And the Fyre Festival saga lives on. By now, you’re well aware that many  paid thousands of dollars to go to a “luxury” music festival promoted Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, and Kendall Jenner only to experience a Lord Of The Flies nightmare. Broken sewer pipes, delayed international flights, ‘gourmet food’ that turned out to be a homeless man’s throw aways, and a campsite that looked like a refugee camp made the festival one of the largest organizational muffs in recent memory.

And somehow the lawyers representing the fleecing have an axe to grind with the people they hosed. On Monday, TMZ reported that Fyre Festival lawyers have sent cease-and-desist letters to at least one festival goer who has posted photos of the refugee camp masquerading as a festival site.

Attorneys for Fyre have fired off a cease and desist letter to at least one of the people who flew to the Bahamas for the festival. The person complained on social media … communications on the island were non-existent and there was nothing but disaster relief tents that were on the verge of blowing over.

The lawyers said the statements were untrue and what’s worse, could “incite violence, rioting or civil unrest.”

And there was this warning … “If someone innocent does get hurt as a result [of your postings] Fyre Festival will hold you accountable and responsible,” adding, “Inciting violence crosses the line.”

I’m no law expert, but I’m pretty sure that translates to “Don’t let anyone know how much we fucked up or we’ll sue your ass.’

Duly noted.
