Hated Ramsay Bolton From ‘Game Of Thrones’ Based On Cartoon Character, DC Villain And Liam Gallagher

Actors are always asked what their motivation is for portraying a difficult or complex character. However, few characters are as wicked, brutal and loathed as Ramsay Bolton from Game of Thrones. Welsh actor Iwan Rheon, who plays the sadistic madman, revealed what inspired him to be so evil and despised.

Rheon told NME that the heartless Bolton was influenced by three, very different pop culture icons. “Somewhere between the Joker from The Dark Knight and Dennis the Menace, with a little bit of Liam Gallagher in there.”

What a cornucopia of personalities. I’m sure the outspoken Gallagher will only embrace this slight.

In fact, Rheon might be playing evil so devilishly well that he is playing Adolf Hitler in his next project titled Adolf the Artist. Yeah, he may want to tone down the despicableness a tad so he doesn’t get typecast for the rest of his career.

Whatever Rheon’s method, it is definitely working because Ramsay is conjuring up GoT hate levels that we haven’t seen since the bratty Joffrey Baratheon. But who is more evil?
