‘Game Of Thrones’ Fans Are Still Crying After That Beloved Character Died At The End Of Last Night’s Episode

SPOILERS, ALWAYS.

There are very few times in life where I experience sadness: when I step on a misplaced Lego brick without wearing shoes, when I…okay that’s pretty much it. But last night on Thrones, damn – not gonna lie, I had tears in my eyes at that very last scene.

For those of you who haven’t seen the episode and are still reading this because you don’t care about spoilers, not only did we lose the Three Eyed Raven (eh), Leaf (who?) and Summer (another direwolf bites the dust), but we lost fucking Hodor. HODOR! What did Hodor ever do to anyone besides say “Hodor”? He was possibly the most innocent character on the show who had zero ulterior motives to helping those around him, and yet here we are, with no Hodor and only a stupid Bran who is the entire reason we had so many people die last night.

And to compound his death, we finally got to find out why Hodor can only say “Hodor” – because Bran warged into his body while he was in the past, when Hodor was a young boy named Wylis. In the present-time, Bran is having Hodor “Hold the Door,” and in the past Wylis is screaming “Hold the door,” eventually devolving into “Hodor.”

Cue crying, from basically anyone and everyone:
