This ‘Game Of Thrones’ Gaffe Shows Jon Snow’s Valyrian Steel Sword Is As Mighty As A Piece Of Cooked Spaghetti

In all of Westeros, there are under a dozen Valyrian steel swords. Forged by a mysterious process from metal in the Valyrian Freehold, the swords are prized for their lightness, strength, and ability to never dull.

After The Doom, though, the process of making them was lost, and the remaining few are now the most valuable objects in all the land.

Or are they? Sure, we’ve seen Jon Snow’s sword, Longclaw, slice through a White Walker. But in last week’s episode, The Battle of the Bastards, watch his sword wobble and flab as he mounts his horse.

Looks more like a Valyrian eel to me.

Nailed it.
