Did a certain location in Game of Thrones look vaguely familiar? That might be because some of the picturesque sets from GoT have been used in some of the most iconic movies of all-time.

Not only does Daenerys Targaryen AKA the Breaker of Chains want to free the slaves of Yunkai, but this is also a place that has been featured in quintessential movies. The real name is Aït-Ben-Haddou, and it is 60 miles southeast of Morocco’s capital of Marrakech. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been the highlighted in movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Jesus of Nazareth, The Mummy, Gladiator, Alexander, Babel and Prince of Persia.
