As anyone who has seen the movie Deadpool, or hell, just been following Ryan Reynolds on social media, knows, Reynolds has been relentless in his roasting of Hugh Jackman and his Wolverine character.

From showing up wearing the mask you see above to the line in the film where Deadpool says, “You’re probably thinking “Whose balls did I have to fondle to get my very own movie”? I can’t tell you his name, but it rhymes with ‘pullverine.'” Reynolds has been pretty relentless.

Well, today Hugh Jackman FINALLY responded and it was definitely worth the wait.

Posting this video on his social media channels, Jackman pulled out a “Ryan Reynolds” mask and expressed his thoughts on Reynolds receiving the 2,596th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (which really did happen today, by the way).

Here’s what he had to say…

“Hello, you may remember me from such things as People Magazine’s 2010 Sexiest Man Alive or the 12th best DC Comics movie Green Lantern.”

“Who would have thought just three years after getting a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame I would be getting a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.”

“Yep, I now join the ranks of other great Canadians such as William Shatner, Leslie Nelson and Tommy Chong. How could a guy who failed his high school drama class be this talented? I have no answer for that.”

“To quote my favorite actor in the world, the great Australian, Hugh Jackman, who, by the way, was People’s Sexiest Man Alive way before me, ‘Americans are the most generous people on the planet’.”

“So, thank you, America, and feel free to urinate on my section of the sidewalk.”

Ryan, you sir, have just been served.

Of course it is all in good fun because as Reynolds told EW recently he really does love the guy…

“I want Deapdool and Wolverine in a movie together,” says Reynolds. “What we’re gonna have to do is convince Hugh. If anything, I’m going to need to do what I can to get my internet friends back on board to help rally another cause down the line.”

Adds Reynolds, “Hugh Jackman is one of the best human beings. Part of the reason I want to do a Deadpool/Wolverine movie is not just because I think the two would light the screen on fire but I genuinely love the guy.”

These two are definitely giving me #BroGoals. (Is that a thing? I think I just may have made that a thing.)
