Every year People magazine boldly proclaims one woman to be the most beautiful. And every year the reactions are all over the board (aka mostly negative).
This year People named Jennifer Aniston (who by total coincidence also has a new movie coming out shortly) the “most beautiful” woman for the second time in her career and as always this upset some folks. As for me personally? I’m a big fan, but my vote didn’t count.
Aniston, who ALSO won this title from People in 2004 (apparently the world is running short on beautiful women), had this to say about her honor…
Jennifer Aniston may be one of the most gorgeous stars in Hollywood, but she was still humbled and “very, very flattered” when she first heard the news that she was being named the Most Beautiful Woman in the World. “I thought, ‘Oh my God,’ ” she tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story. “There was this sort of very excited, teenage-y kind of moment.”

The reaction of the people that obviously matter the most, those on Twitter, were rather mixed however. Feel free to chime in with your own thoughts on the matter after you read some of their tweets.
Did I mention she has a movie coming out?

@people not again, there really so many more beautiful actors that deserve this title. How much does Jen's PR pay U to put her on cover. $$

Wow, even beautiful people are upset.
@people Ridiculous. Maybe AARP magazines most beautiful cover. This is an outrage. As a beautiful person, I am offended!

What do you think, Rihanna?

Well, at least one fan was happy.
@people I LOVE Jennifer Anderson 😍

Ummm, it’s Aniston, not Anderson. Eh, close enough.
