Jersey Shore’ Cast Rings the Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange

by 7 years ago

This morning the Jersey Shore cast rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. Mark Haines, who once landed an impressive runner-up slot as Bro of the Week, got some steam off his chest about Snooki and The Situation parading around Wall Street: Via Business Insider: “These people are not from New Jersey. They're from other places who came to the Jersey Shore for the summer. But they are not from New Jersey. Have I made that clear?” New Jerseyians, insert “Bennys” joke here. Haines also managed to sneak in a delicate jab aimed at Jwoww, “She's heavily invested in silicon valley.” Waka waka waka. Apparently Haines and Squawk on the Street co-host Erin Burnett tried to get an interview with the Jersey Shore gang, but their PR handlers at Viacom (MTV's parent company) declined the request, presumably because the power duo would use a lot of big words that they wouldn't understand. Anyway, video and more photos after the jump.
