Comedian Jim Carrey has been passionate about vaccines since his relationship with Jenny McCarthy and it appears his fire still runs hot.
In a series of tweets last night, the funnyman took aim at California Governor Jerry Brown for signing the state’s tough new vaccination law.
California Gov says yes to poisoning more children with mercury and aluminum in manditory vaccines. This corporate fascist must be stopped.

They say mercury in fish is dangerous but forcing all of our children to be injected with mercury in thimerosol is no risk. Make sense? — Jim Carrey (@JimCarrey) July 1, 2015
I am not anti-vaccine. I am anti-thimerosal, anti-mercury. They have taken some of the mercury laden thimerosal out of vaccines. NOT ALL!

The CDC can’t solve a problem they helped start. It’s too risky to admit they have been wrong about mercury/thimerasol. They are corrupt. — Jim Carrey (@JimCarrey) July 1, 2015
Carrey then repeated that he’s pro-vaccine but anti-neurotoxin. I refuse to google neurotoxin but the name suggests, yah, it’s pretty bad. This is truly the greatest debate of our time. On one side you have all the scientists. On the other you have a handful of Hollywood people. It’s literally impossible to pick sides. But we must. And Carrey was, like, superfunny in the 90s. So preach on, Jim. We’re kinda with you sorta. [Time]””
