Keanu Reeves’ Driving, Fighting And Tactical Training For ‘John Wick 2’ Was ABSURDLY Intense

Lionsgate

After the first John Wick movie came out a couple of years back we got a glimpse at what a badass Keanu Reeves, 52, could be with an armory of guns in real life.

Bro legit looked like he, if called upon to do so, could pull off most of John Wick’s moves as he absolutely shredded a gun range with a variety of weapons. After all, if you’re going to smoke 76 bad guys in 101 minutes of screen time, you better make it look damn good.

Now with John Wick: Chapter 2 out on DVD and On Demand, we have some new training videos that show Reeves’ training for the second film was even more intense and somehow even more impressive as well.

This first video shows Reeves back at Taran Tactical, the site of the video above, for a little more intensive tactical training.

Speaking about Reeves, the folks at Taran said, “He is hands-down the best weapons actor out there right now.”

Hard to argue that point after watching that video as well as this next one…

As far as when it comes to fight training, another key element in the John Wick movies, Reeves also excelled at that despite being put through a grueling training regimen…

Then finally, we have this official training video put out by Lionsgate where we even get to see a little of the driving skills Reeves had to use in order to play the baddest assassin on the planet.

And that is how you kill over one bad guy per minute in a 122 minute film.

John Wick 3 can’t get here soon enough as far as I am concerned.
