Kid Cudi Announced He Has Checked Himself Into Rehab For Depression And Suicidal Urges In Emotional Announcement

Kid Cudi has gone to rehab for depression and suicidal urges. On Tuesday night, the rapper posted on Facebook that he had checked himself into rehab the day before because “there’s a ragin’ violent storm inside of my heart at all times.”

He told fans that there’s an “anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it… I don’t trust anyone because of it and I’m tired of being held back in my life. I deserve to have peace. I deserve to be happy and smiling.”

Cudder was extremely open with his fans in the post and stated that he is “simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life.” He added that rehab was absolutely necessary for him at this time, “If I didn’t come here, I would’ve done something to myself.”

The 32-year-old Cudi, born Scott Mescudi, said he wouldn’t be around to promote his upcoming music, but “The album is still on the way.” Kid Cudi’s upcoming album “Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'” is his sixth album and features guest appearances from André 3000, Travis Scott, Pharrell Williams and Willow Smith.

Get well soon Cudi.
