Robert Plant Just Ripped Up An $800 Million Dollar Offer To Reunite Led Zeppelin — Bro Move Or Big Mistake?

Led Zeppelin reunion rumors are older than the actual band. Every year, Led Zeppelin reunion rumors pop up and the band quickly squashes the idea. They’ve gotten back together for one-off shows but they’ve never done a reunion tour.

According to multiple sources, Richard Branson is the latest to try to tempt Zeppelin with money for shaking their old man asses on stage a couple more times. The Virgin Atlantic mogul tossed an $800 million dollar contract at Plant, Page and the other blokes. Plant responded.

Who wouldn’t want to see the three living members of this band, reunited and reliving some of rock and roll’s greatest songs?

Robert Plant, that’s who. In a stunning move, Plant shredded an $800 million reunion contract, offered by Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Atlantic. The other members, John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page, were on board, as was late drummer John Bonham’s son Jason, who has filled in for his father in the past. The contract had the band playing 35 shows in three locations, including London, Berlin, and New Jersey.

God damn it! I’ll bet New Jersey ruined it for everyone! All joking aside, this is a ballsy move from one of rock and rolls legendary bad asses. Robert Plant has told many a people to go F themselves when it comes to bring Zeppelin back for one last hurrah. Ripping up an $800 million dollar contract for just 35 dates is probably the ballsiest move of all time.

On the flip side, WHAT THE FUCK DUDE! I know Zeppelin and Plant don’t owe fans anything but they fucking owe fans something. Especially the fans who were born after the group called it quits. It’s 35 shows for a boatload of money. Not to mention the other money they’d make on more album sales and DVD specials and commercial licensing for old man rocker spandex with the Depends sown right in.

This is a whole lotta suck if you ask me.
