The second most hated man in America (just a tick behind Martin Shkreli), Calumet County DA Ken Kratz, is once again back in the news.
Just last week the Making A Murder District Attorney admitted that he was a dick and was jealous of Dean Strang. (Who isn’t?) Which was all well and good, but now thanks to Steven Avery’s new attorney Kathleen Zellner we know just a little bit more about just how much of a dick he really was.
Zellner, who has been going all in on Twitter in the case, just dropped another nugget on Kratz that isn’t going make people dislike him any less.

In the letter (which you can also read below) that Kratz wrote to Steven Avery prior to Making A Murderer being released Kratz essentially is angling for Avery to tell his “whole truthful story” to him so he can write a tell-all book.
Dear Mr Avery:
I got your letter dated August 28, 2015, wherein you tell me your visitor list is full, and ask if I checked out other fingerprints found on Teresa Halbach’s car, telling me that these people could have “set you up” for this.
I apologize for misunderstanding your letters from a couple years ago, as I thought you were interested in being honest about what happened and finally telling the whole story to someone. Since I’m the person who probably knows more about your case that anyone else, I hoped that you would chose me to tell your story to.
Unfortunately, you only want to continue your nonsense about being set up. That’s too bad, because you had ONE opportunity to finally tell all the details, but now that will never happen.
By the way, the difference between you and famous convicted murderers from the past is that they told their whole truthful story to someone, who then wrote a book about what actually happened and people got to understand both sides. I was willing to do that for you… but if you are going to continue to lie about what happened between you and Ms. Halbach, I am not interested.

So not only was Kratz a self-professed dick he was also apparently delusional as hell. Why on earth would Steven Avery want Ken Kratz, the man who put him behind bars, to write a book about him? Especially when Kratz chides him for all the “nonsense about being set up?”
