Hip-hop fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of Weezy’s upcoming Tha Carter V, and after his recent interview with MTV, those fans will have to continue to wait… because Weezy himself has no clue.
For his part, he definitely knows that he finished the album, but as far as when it actually comes out, our guess is as good as his.
“I think it drops in September or August,” but “it might drop before then, in July…” Wayne goes on to admit, “I’m not so good with that,” referring to remembering the release date for his own album.
This dude is a busy man, and he lives in the moment. He records an album, murders it, and then it’s on to the next one. He can’t be bothered with release dates. That shit’s for pussies.
