There Might Be A Live-Action ‘Archer’ Movie And They Have The PERFECT Lead Actor

Holy shitsnacks! There may be a live-action Archer movie on the way! It may be hard to imagine, but if it came it would explode in the theaters (Phrasing). And the producers have the perfect leading actor to play the part of everyone’s favorite International Secret Intelligence Service agent, Sterling Archer.

Archer producers Adam Reed and Matt Thompson discussed the future of the animated spy show in an interview with the Daily Beast. They say that if a feature film version of the TV show was to ever happen that it would probably be a live-action film that would come after the show went off the air.

“It’s all up to whatever Adam [Reed] wants, to do, but he and I have definitely talked about it,” Thompson said. “We vacillate between if you do it, why are you doing the TV show? And should it be live-action, or should it be cartoon?”

Thompson also revealed their dream candidate to play Archer in the danger zone of Hollywood movies.

“It’s Jon Hamm. If Archer goes live-action, I do believe it will be Jon Hamm. Maybe you could do it with Jon Benjamin’s voice coming out of him? I don’t know. Adam is always like, ‘I don’t know if I want the movie to be live-action because I want it to be Jon Benjamin!’ But if it is live-action—and if it is not Jon Benjamin—it is our greatest hope that it would be Jon Hamm. I can say that with confidence.”

Stop, my penis can only get so erect.

Hamm would be a perfect match to put on a tactleneck and be the suave, heavy-drinking master spy.

Hamm is already familiar with Archer, he previously appeared on the show, playing a deranged sea base captain in the finale of season four.

It makes so much sense that there’s even a Tumblr dedicated to Hamm as Sterling. “Sterling Archer Draper Pryce,” mashes up Hamm’s Don Draper from Mad Men with quotes from Archer.

Hey dicknuts, let’s get this done and RAMPAGEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!”
