Matthew McConaughey Wins Best Actor, Gives the Most Mind-Blowing Acceptance Speech Ever

A BroBible dream came true tonight: Long-time Bro King Matthew McConaughey won an Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in Dallas Buyer’s Club. Sans taking off his clothes and playing bongos, his acceptance speech was the most McConaughey thing ever. He gave an awesome remembrance of his father pounding Miller Lites and said that during childhood his older self was his personal hero. Also: “It’s a scientific fact that gratitude reciprocates.”

The best part comes at the end, with McConaughey quoting the first line of his first ever movie.

Fucking awesome. The fact that he said he was his own person hero continues to melt my mind into a puddle of brain soup. Classic McConaughey. Never change.
