I realize I’m not the intended audience for the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers flick but so far all the news about the film is odd as hell. The promising first glimpse of Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa was ruined with all the young boys in their mighty potato slings. Now this poster…yeesh. I’m not sure even Walter White can save this flick.
I understand the art of the tease but if I wasn’t told this poster was for the new Power Rangers film I’d guess it was a teen rom-com or the climax of a Subaru commercial.
Seriously, play this song and stare at that poster and tell me it doesn’t fit perfectly.
