Steve Irwin’s Son Has Grown Up To Look And Act Just Like His Dad, So ALL ABOARD The Feels Train!!!

It has been 3822 long days since Steve Irwin tragically died after being stung through the chest by the barb of a stingray while filming for a nature documentary titled Ocean’s Deadliest. Steve Irwin taught an entire generation of people across the planet to love nature, and all of the creatures in the wild. Steve’s compassion for animals and passion for conservation made him one of the most beloved figured on television before he was taken from this world at the age of 44, leaving behind his wife and two children (Bindi and Robert).

Steve’s son Robert Irwin was born in 2003, which makes me feel old as hell watching this video, but it’s also incredible to see his father’s passion for animals living on through his son. If the video wasn’t filmed in high-def (and it wasn’t Jimmy Fallon interviewing him) you could’ve convinced me that Robert Irwin is a young Steve Irwin. He’s a spitting image of his father, as you can see here in this image shared by Robert’s sister Bindi Irwin on Instagram:

Robert and his sister Bindi were homeschooled at the Australia Zoo, the zoo made famous by their father Steve. In Robert’s words you can see Steve Irwin’s passion for life on this planet is alive and well:

May he forever rest in peace:
